Honeywell 6200081 is a data hiway interface module designed for Honeywell IPC 620 control platform,its main purpose is to act as a protocol gateway for stable legacy connection between IPC 620 racks and Honeywell TDC3000 Data Hiway network. This hiway interface module undertakes bidirectional protocol conversion and data forwarding. It transmits real-time process values,control setpoints,equipment status and alarm messages from the IPC 620 control rack to the TDC3000 DCS system,and receives supervisory commands and configuration data from the upper hiway network. It separates the backplane bus traffic and hiway bus traffic,offloading communication processing tasks from the main processor so that core control logic will not be affected by heavy network transmission.

Key specifications and parameters: It adopts standard rack slot mounting and connects to the IPC 620 backplane bus. Operating temperature range is 0°C to +60°C. It supports Honeywell proprietary Data Hiway communication protocol. Built-in link diagnosis circuit continuously monitors hiway bus status,frame error,timeout and signal loss.
