Honeywell 51197018100 (51197018-100) is a rack plug-in I/O control module for Honeywell TDC3000 legacy DCS five-slot IOP chassis,its main purpose is collecting on-site 4-20mA analog signals and dry contact digital signals,signal conditioning,limit judgement and data upload to the Data Hiway bus. This module can receive analog signals from transmitters such as temperature,pressure,flow and liquid level,as well as switch state signals from on-site limit switches,relays and button devices. It converts analog current signals into digital values that can be identified by the TDC3000 controller,filters signal noise and performs over-range detection. It also receives output commands issued by CE or HPM controller through the backplane bus,drives on-site indicators,solenoid valves and alarm devices. It is equipped with isolated signal circuit design between channels to reduce crosstalk between adjacent analog and digital signals in heavy industrial environment. It supports hot swap operation under lockout-tagout maintenance procedure. Engineers can replace a single faulty I/O module without shutting down the whole I/O subrack.
