Honeywell 51191573100 (51191573-100) is an infrared touchscreen assembly designed for Honeywell TDC3000 legacy DCS operator station,its main purpose is direct touch operation and cursor control for the console display unit. This IR touch frame is mounted on the front of the operator station CRT monitor,using infrared matrix scanning technology to detect the touch position of operators on the screen surface. It converts touch coordinates into dedicated communication signals and transmits them to the operator station mainboard,allowing operators to click process graphics,pop up control faceplates,modify set values and acknowledge alarms directly on the screen without relying on trackball or keyboard only. It adopts non-contact infrared sensing design. There is no pressure-sensitive film on the surface,greatly reducing the aging and wear failure risk under long-time continuous operation in the control room. It supports coordinate calibration function. Engineers can calibrate the touch mapping range to match the display picture after screen replacement or frame reinstallation. It continuously monitors the infrared transmitting and receiving diode array. If the infrared path is blocked,diode is damaged or communication link is disconnected,it will record timestamped fault alarm information and send prompt messages on the operator station for maintenance arrangement.
