The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/90 communication gateway module belongs to Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. It can be installed in any free slot of the 3500 rack. This module acts as a data bridge between the 3500 rack and external systems such as DCS, PLC and HMI. It supports Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU protocols, uploading vibration, displacement, temperature, speed and alarm status data collected by all monitor modules inside the rack. It can isolate the core protection logic of the 3500 system from external network to avoid network interference affecting machine trip function. Operators can read real-time measurement values and alarm status through upper computer system. Front panel LED indicators display module OK status and communication link status for on-site inspection. Built-in self-diagnosis function can detect module hardware fault and communication interruption faults. It supports hot swapping during normal rack operation, maintenance staff can replace the module without shutting down the whole TSI system. It complies with API 670 turbomachinery monitoring standard, widely applied in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, used for machinery protection system data exchange with plant control system.
