The ZYGO 8070-0902-03X is a discontinued air-cooled two-frequency He-Ne heterodyne laser head of ZMI-7705 series, designed to match ZMI-501A or ZMI-501 standalone measurement electronics for high-precision displacement metrology. It is widely adopted in semiconductor wafer positioning stages, optical inspection platforms and custom ultra-precision motion systems requiring sub-nanometer measurement resolution. It outputs 632.8nm frequency-stabilized laser with two orthogonal linear polarization frequencies, fixed beat frequency difference of 20MHz ±1600Hz, supplying stable reference beat signal for heterodyne interferometer decoding.
