TRICONEX 8312 is a high-reliability AC power supply module developed for Triconex Tricon triple modular redundancy safety instrumented system (SIS). This SIS safety system power module accepts 230VAC input and converts AC power into multiple isolated DC outputs to supply stable power for Tricon rack controllers, I/O modules and communication boards. The Tricon power supply module supports redundant parallel configuration, multiple 8312 modules can work together to realize load sharing, single module failure will not cause the whole safety system shutdown. It has built-in comprehensive monitoring circuits to detect input voltage, output voltage, internal temperature and fuse status continuously. Front panel PASS, FAULT, TEMP and BAT LOW LED indicators help maintenance staff quickly check module health and locate power faults. The module supports hot swap operation, technicians can replace the faulty power unit online without powering down the Tricon safety rack. It is equipped with overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature and short-circuit protection functions to protect SIS hardware from electrical damage. It can be installed in the dedicated power slot of standard Tricon chassis, compatible with Tricon TMR safety system firmware versions. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 8312 power supply module provides stable and uninterrupted power support for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection safety control systems.
