TRICONEX 8311N is a high-density power supply module developed for Triconex TMR safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module converts input voltage into stable working power for the Tricon rack, supplying power to main processor boards, communication modules and various I/O modules inside the chassis. The module adopts triple modular redundant design matching Tricon 2-out-of-3 voting safety architecture, which can keep normal power output when a single power channel fails, eliminating single point of power failure. It is equipped with built-in comprehensive monitoring and alarm functions, with PASS, FAIL, ALARM and BAT LOW LED indicators, to monitor output voltage, temperature and battery status in real time. The module supports hot swap operation during maintenance, users can replace the faulty power unit without shutting down the whole safety rack, effectively reducing system downtime. It cooperates with Tricon main chassis, expansion chassis, processor modules and I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 8311N power supply module provides reliable power support for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
