TRICONEX 8110 is a high density main chassis developed for Triconex TMR safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety chassis is the core rack carrier of Tricon safety controller, which can install main processor modules, power supply units and up to six groups of I/O modules. The built-in triple redundant backplane bus matches Tricon 2-out-of-3 voting safety architecture, realizing stable power distribution and triple signal transmission for each plug-in module. It adopts heavy-duty industrial metal cabinet structure, good vibration resistance and electromagnetic interference resistance, adapting to harsh factory working conditions. The chassis supports hot swap of I/O and communication modules, maintenance personnel can replace faulty modules online without shutting down the whole safety system, minimizing system downtime. It can be connected with expansion chassis through triplicated RS485 bus to expand the scale of safety control system. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 8110 main chassis provides rack installation and bus transmission for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
