TRICONEX 3721 is a 32-channel differential analog input module adopting triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module collects differential DC voltage signals from field transmitters and sensors, and converts analog signals into digital data for the Tricon main controller. The Tricon analog input module supports -5VDC to +5VDC and 0~5VDC DC-coupled differential input, with programmable 12-bit or 14-bit resolution and 10ms input update rate for high-precision signal acquisition. Each channel is equipped with isolation design to suppress ground loop noise and electrical interference from field equipment. Continuous built-in channel diagnostics can detect open circuit, short circuit and internal hardware faults, and transmit fault alarms to the engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance workers can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module health status and channel signal state for fast on-site troubleshooting. It adopts 2-out-of-3 voting logic to eliminate single point of failure, fully meets SIL3 safety integrity level requirements. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and matched with Tricon controller and other I/O modules.
