TRICONEX 3604E is a 16-channel TMR digital output module designed for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented system (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module adopts triple modular redundancy architecture with three independent processing channels and 2-out-of-3 voting logic to guarantee high fault tolerance for safety applications. The Tricon digital output module outputs 24VDC discrete control signals to drive solenoid valves, relays and other field actuators in emergency shutdown systems. All 16 channels are non-commoned and equipped with 1500VDC point-to-point isolation, effectively blocking electrical interference from field circuits. Each channel supports continuous self-diagnostics to detect open circuit, short circuit and hardware faults, and reports fault alarms to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators show module health status and each channel output state for fast on-site troubleshooting. It meets SIL3 safety integrity level requirements and can be mounted in the standard Tricon rack, cooperating with Tricon main controller and other I/O modules.
