FOXBORO FBM211 (P0914TN) is a high-density 16-channel galvanically isolated analog input fieldbus module from FOXBORO Compact 200 I/A Series DCS. It accepts 0~20.4mA DC signals, supporting 4-20mA HART transmitters for overlay digital instrument diagnostics. Each channel uses differential input design and 16-bit sigma-delta ADC to convert current signals into digital values for the FCP controller. The PCB is conformal coated to resist vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It communicates with controller over redundant 2Mbps fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis detects loop break, short circuit and over-range faults, triggering alarms for technicians to quickly locate instrument wiring issues. FBM211 supports hot swap and redundant module pair configuration, widely used for DCS maintenance, spare parts replacement and system retrofit projects. FBM211 is a high-density 16-point analog input card, different from 8-channel FBM201 series AI modules. Its differential input structure suppresses ground loop noise when connecting multiple field instruments.
