Product Details:
FOXBORO FBM207D is a 16-channel galvanically isolated high voltage discrete input fieldbus module within FOXBORO Compact 200 I/A Series DCS. It is designed to accept 120VAC / 125VDC status signals from high voltage auxiliary switches, breaker contacts and safety equipment feedback. Each channel has independent opto-isolation to separate high-voltage field circuits from the low-voltage DCS backplane, protecting the main controller. The module supports configurable channel debounce time (4ms,8ms,16ms,32ms) to suppress contact bounce and avoid false triggering. The PCB adopts conformal coating to resist vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It communicates with FCP controller over redundant 2Mbps fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis detects circuit open and abnormal voltage faults, triggers alarms for technicians to quickly locate field wiring issues. FBM207D supports hot swap and redundant module pair configuration, widely used for DCS maintenance, spare parts replacement and system retrofit projects. Every FOXBORO FBM207D module passes factory testing and calibration before shipment.

FBM207D is the high AC/DC voltage variant of FBM207 family, different from FBM207B 24VDC and FBM207C 48VDC versions. Its reinforced isolation structure handles 120V instrument circuits, which are commonly used in older power plant equipment status feedback. It must match dedicated high-voltage termination assemblies to achieve safe signal attenuation and isolation. It is widely used for high voltage breaker status monitoring and safety interlock feedback in power plants, and serves as direct replacement for legacy 120V discrete input cards on I/A DCS systems. Every FOXBORO FBM207D module passes factory testing and calibration before shipment.
