FOXBORO FBM206 is an 8-channel galvanically isolated pulse input fieldbus module of FOXBORO Compact 200 I/A Series DCS, part number P0916CQ. It receives pulse signals from turbine flow meters, vortex flow meters and magnetic pickup tachometer sensors, supporting frequency measurement and total pulse accumulation. Each channel features independent channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground isolation, with a measuring frequency range of 10Hz to 25kHz. Built-in configurable signal debounce filtering suppresses industrial noise interference and prevents false pulse counting. The PCB is conformal coated to resist vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It communicates with FCP controller over redundant 2Mbps fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis detects circuit faults and abnormal pulse signals, triggers alarms so technicians can quickly locate sensor or wiring issues. FBM206 supports hot swap and is widely used for DCS maintenance, spare parts replacement and system retrofit projects.
