FOXBORO FBM201E is an enhanced 8-channel galvanically isolated analog input fieldbus module from FOXBORO Compact 200 I/A Series DCS. It collects 0-20mA / 4-20mA signals from two-wire field transmitters, supporting HART digital signal overlay to read both process values and instrument diagnostic data. Each channel uses independent channel-to-channel isolation and 16-bit sigma-delta ADC for high precision measurement. The PCB is conformal coated to resist vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It communicates with FCP controller via redundant 2Mbps fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis detects loop break, short circuit and rate-of-change alarm, helping technicians quickly locate transmitter and wiring faults. FBM201E supports hot swap and is widely used for DCS maintenance, spare parts replacement and system retrofit projects. Every FOXBORO FBM201E module passes factory testing and calibration before shipment.
