FOXBORO FBM20 is an 8-channel contact sensing discrete input fieldbus module for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system. It receives dry contact on-off signals from field switches, relay contacts and status feedback devices. This module adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It exchanges data with DCS controller over redundant HDLC fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis monitors wiring faults and contact status, triggers alarms for technicians to quickly locate signal issues and reduce plant downtime.
