Product Details:
FOXBORO FBM18 is an 8-channel analog input fieldbus module for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system. It receives 4-20mA analog signals from pressure transmitters, level transmitters and flow transmitters, converting field analog measurements into digital data for the DCS controller. This module adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It communicates with the DCS controller via redundant HDLC fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis detects loop open circuit and signal abnormality, triggers alarms so technicians can quickly locate transmitter or wiring faults and reduce plant downtime. FBM18 supports hot swap and is widely used for DCS maintenance, spare parts replacement and system retrofit projects. Every FOXBORO FBM18 module passes factory testing and calibration before shipment.

FBM18 is designed for standard 4-20mA transmitter signal acquisition, the most common analog measurement type in process plants. Its 8-channel layout collects process variables like pressure, liquid level and flow rate. The loop fault diagnosis function helps engineers quickly find broken transmitter wiring without extra test instruments. It serves as a reliable spare card for legacy I/A DCS systems in chemical and oil & gas process loops. Every FOXBORO FBM18 module passes factory testing and calibration to guarantee reliable process control performance.
