Product Details:
FOXBORO FBM17C is a 16-channel 120VAC discrete output fieldbus module for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system. It outputs solid-state 120VAC switching signals to control AC solenoid valves, motor starters and local panel indicators. This module adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It communicates with DCS controller via redundant HDLC fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis tracks overload and short-circuit faults on each output channel, triggers alarms so technicians can quickly identify load and wiring issues and reduce plant downtime. FBM17C supports hot swap and is widely used for DCS maintenance, spare parts replacement and system retrofit projects. Every FOXBORO FBM17C module passes factory testing and calibration before shipment.

FBM17C delivers AC solid-state switching for field actuators, designed for 120VAC loads rather than the 24VDC type of FBM17 / FBM17A. The 16-channel layout provides high channel density, reducing the total rack slot count for projects with large quantities of AC interlock control points. It is commonly used for burner control circuits, motor auxiliary interlocks and alarm lamp driving on refining and power plant DCS systems. Every FOXBORO FBM17C module passes factory testing and calibration to guarantee reliable process control performance.
