FOXBORO FBM15 is a piggyback discrete output expansion module for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system, paired with FBM10 main module to expand 120VAC discrete output channels. It receives control commands from DCS controller and outputs 120VAC switching signals to drive solenoid valves, contactors and indicator lamps. This module adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It communicates through FBM10 via redundant HDLC fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis monitors overload and channel faults, triggers alarm for quick troubleshooting to reduce plant downtime. FBM15 supports hot swap and is widely used for DCS maintenance, spare parts replacement and system retrofit projects. Every FOXBORO FBM15 module passes factory testing and calibration before shipment.
