FOXBORO FBM11/16 is a piggyback pulse input assembly for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system, matched with FBM11 main pulse input card and FBM16 piggyback expansion module. It collects pulse and frequency signals from turbine flow meters, rotary speed pickups and pulse transmitters, realizes high-speed pulse counting and flow totalization calculation. This module set adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in heavy industrial sites. It communicates with DCS controller via redundant HDLC fieldbus. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis monitors sensor break, short circuit and communication faults in real time, triggers alarm once abnormal condition occurs, helping maintenance staff locate faults quickly and reduce plant downtime.
