FOXBORO FBM09D/14D is a piggyback hybrid discrete I/O assembly for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system, assembled by FBM09D main module and FBM14D expansion piggyback card. It collects 24VDC discrete status signals from field limit switches, proximity sensors and relay contacts, and provides solid-state discrete output signals to drive solenoid valves, alarm lamps and field actuators. This module set adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference under harsh industrial working conditions. It supports redundant fieldbus communication, adjustable input debounce time and configurable fail-safe output state.
