FOXBORO FBM09B/14B is a piggyback hybrid discrete I/O assembly for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system, consisting of FBM09B main module and FBM14B expansion module. FBM09B uses internal power supply for its 8 channels discrete input, paired with FBM14B expansion card to expand total digital I/O capacity. It collects 24VDC on-off signals from field limit switches and proximity sensors, and outputs switching signals to drive solenoid valves and local indicator lights. This module set adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting internal electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in heavy industrial sites.
