FOXBORO FBM09(P0400YK) is a hybrid discrete input and output fieldbus module for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system. It has 8 channels of isolated discrete input and 8 channels of solid-state discrete output. The input channels collect dry contact status signals from limit switches and relay auxiliary contacts. The output channels drive DC solenoid valves, pilot relays and panel indicator lights. This module adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting internal electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in heavy industrial sites. It supports redundant fieldbus communication, input signal debounce and configurable fail-safe output states. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis monitors channel short circuit, open circuit and communication faults in real time, triggers alarm once abnormal condition occurs, helping maintenance staff locate faults quickly and reduce plant downtime.
