FOXBORO FBM08/13 is a combined 120VAC discrete input assembly for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system,consisting of FBM08 main module and FBM13 piggyback expander module. It collects 120VAC contact status signals from field limit switches and relay contacts, expanding the discrete signal acquisition capacity of the DCS rack. This module set adopts channel galvanic isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting internal electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in heavy industrial sites. It converts AC on-off signals into digital data and transmits to DCS controller via redundant fieldbus.
