FOXBORO FBM06A is a revised version hybrid fieldbus module for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system. It accepts pulse / frequency input signals from flow meters, turbine meters and speed sensors, and provides 4 channels of 4-20mA analog output to drive valve positioners. This module adopts galvanic channel isolation and conformal coated PCB, protecting internal electronic components from vibration, dust, humidity and electromagnetic interference in heavy industrial sites. It supports frequency counting, total flow calculation and stable analog control output. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis monitors sensor break, short circuit and communication faults in real time, triggers alarm once abnormal condition occurs, helping maintenance staff locate faults quickly and reduce plant downtime.
