FOXBORO CP40 (P0960JA) is a rack-mounted high-performance control processor for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system, a high-performance DCS CPU module built for process automation. This processor module adopts conformal coated PCB assembly and reinforced shielding frame, protecting internal microprocessor, memory and bus circuits from vibration, dust and electromagnetic interference inside industrial control cabinets. It can be plugged directly onto the DCS rack backplane and matched with supporting backplane for fast installation and convenient maintenance. It supports optional fault-tolerant redundant pairing to eliminate single point failure risk for critical production loops.

This FOXBORO CP40 DCS CPU module reads analog and discrete field measurement and status signals from FBM I/O modules.
