FOXBORO CM400YN is a rack-mounted FBM12 combined discrete input and output module for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system, a high-performance DCS signal card built for process automation. This digital I/O module adopts conformal coated PCB assembly and reinforced shielding frame, protecting internal precision electronic circuits from vibration, dust and electromagnetic interference inside industrial control cabinets. It can be plugged directly onto the DCS rack backplane and matched with dedicated terminal base for convenient wiring and fast maintenance. It integrates discrete input acquisition and discrete output control on one single module, saving cabinet rack slots for automation system layout.

This FOXBORO CM400YN DCS signal card receives dry contact or 24VDC discrete status signals from field limit switches, valve position feedback and equipment contact sensors, and uploads status data to DCS host controller.
