FOXBORO CM400YM is a rack-mounted FBM11 combined analog input and output module for FOXBORO I/A Series DCS system, a high-performance DCS signal card built for process automation. This module adopts conformal coated PCB assembly and reinforced shielding frame, protecting internal precision electronic circuits from vibration, dust and electromagnetic interference inside industrial control cabinets. It can be plugged directly onto the DCS rack backplane and matched with dedicated terminal base for convenient wiring and fast maintenance. It integrates analog input acquisition and analog output control in one single card, saving rack space for automation cabinet layout.

This FOXBORO CM400YM DCS signal card collects analog measurement signals from field transmitters including 4~20mA and DC voltage signals, converts raw analog signals into digital data and uploads to DCS host controller. Meanwhile it receives control commands from DCS CPU and converts into 4~20mA analog output signals to drive valve positioners for closed-loop control of temperature, pressure, flow and liquid level. Each channel has independent signal conditioning and galvanic isolation to prevent cross-interference. The module integrates built-in channel self-diagnosis function, which can detect open circuit, short circuit and hardware abnormalities. Once faults are detected, it sends alarm information to DCS host system, helping maintenance engineers quickly locate faulty channels and reduce unplanned plant downtime.
