The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/34 TMR relay module is a full-height four-channel triple modular redundant relay card designed for the Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. It is specially developed for high safety level turbomachinery protection applications, adopting 2-out-of-3 voting architecture, which is the core relay hardware for TMR rack safety shutdown, different from the ordinary 3500/33 relay module without triple redundancy function. Each relay output channel is driven by three independent relay circuits, and only when at least two circuits trigger the alarm, the output contact will act, greatly reducing the risk of false trip and missed trip. Users can configure flexible AND or OR alarm logic via 3500 rack configuration software, mapping vibration, thrust position, temperature and overspeed alarm signals from any monitor channel in the rack to each relay channel. Each channel supports latching or non-latching mode selection to meet the requirements of local alarm annunciator and ESD emergency shutdown circuits. The relay contacts are built with arc suppression design to resist surge interference in harsh industrial environments. Front panel LED indicators clearly display module OK running state, backplane communication status and each relay channel alarm state for convenient on-site inspection and maintenance. The module supports hot swapping under TMR rack configuration. When one relay module is replaced, the safety trip logic of the whole system will not be interrupted. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis function automatically detects relay coil faults, contact state abnormalities and internal hardware failures, and uploads fault event information to the rack system in real time. It complies with API 670 standard and high-level safety certification, widely applied in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, providing high-reliability hard-contact safety trip output for critical rotating machinery protection.
