The B&R X20IF1063 is X20 series single-width PROFIBUS DP slave communication module with one PROFIBUS DP V0 slave interface, supporting baud rate up to 12Mbit/s and maximum communication distance of 1200 meters. It adopts RS485 physical layer and 9-pin D-Sub connector to realize bidirectional data exchange between B&R X20 I/O station and third-party PROFIBUS master devices. The field bus side is electrically isolated from X2X Link backplane circuit, effectively cutting off electromagnetic interference in noisy industrial workshop environments. It supports standard PROFIBUS DP slave protocol, works with GSD file configuration on the master side, and can seamlessly connect with Siemens PLC and other PROFIBUS host controllers. LED indicators display module running status and bus data transmission activity for fast on-site inspection and fault diagnosis. This split module needs to be matched with X20BM11 bus carrier and X20TB12 terminal block to form complete communication assembly. It carries ATEX Zone2, cULus HazLoc and DNV marine certifications, suitable for auxiliary hazardous locations and marine automation control systems.
