The B&R X20DS1119 is X20 series single-width multifunction digital signal processor module. It has three symmetrical 5VDC configurable I/O channels and two 24VDC asymmetrical digital input channels. This module integrates universal counter pair, dual event counters, linear motion generator with A/B direction signal and one reference pulse input, supporting SSI absolute encoder connection. It adopts NetTime microsecond-level timestamp function, which can capture edge signal and position change with high precision independently of bus cycle. The 5V channel supports max 65mA output current, with built-in channel diagnosis function for fast anomaly detection. 500V galvanic isolation separates field signal side from X2X Link bus to suppress electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments. It can be used for encoder emulation, pulse generation and high-precision position measurement. This split module must cooperate with X20BM11 bus carrier and X20TB12 terminal block to build complete I/O assembly. It carries ATEX Zone2, cULus HazLoc and DNV marine certifications, suitable for hazardous locations and marine automation systems. IP20 protection grade for DIN rail cabinet mounting, compact 12.5mm width, bus power consumption 0.01W and internal I/O power consumption 1.5W, robust mechanical structure with shock and vibration resistance for long-time stable operation.
