The B&R X20DM9324 is X20 series single-width mixed digital I/O module with 8-channel 24VDC sink digital inputs and 4-channel 24VDC source digital outputs, designed for 1-wire field wiring. Digital input channels comply with EN 61131-2 Type 1 standard, nominal 24VDC input with -15% to +20% voltage tolerance, typical input current 3.75mA per channel. It supports configurable software input filter adjustable from 0 to 25ms to filter field electromagnetic pulse interference. The 4 source-type output channels adopt FET switching design, each channel supports 0.5A continuous load, total output current up to 2A for driving solenoid valves and relays. Outputs integrate short-circuit and thermal shutdown protection, with built-in freewheeling diode for inductive load switching. 500V effective galvanic isolation separates field signal circuits and X2X Link bus to suppress cross interference. It supports channel-level diagnosis for input signal and output overload faults. LED indicators display module running state and each channel status for fast on-site inspection. This split module must work with X20BM11 bus carrier and X20TB12 terminal block to build complete I/O assembly. It carries ATEX Zone2, cULus HazLoc and marine certifications including DNV, suitable for auxiliary hazardous and marine automation systems.
