The B&R X20DI8371 is X20 series single-width digital input module equipped with 8 independent 24VDC sink-type input channels, designed for 1-wire field sensor wiring. It complies with EN 61131-2 Type 1 input specification, nominal 24VDC input voltage with tolerance range of -15% to +20%, typical input current reaches 3.75mA per channel and input resistance is 6.4kΩ. This module integrates hardware input filter ≤100µs and software adjustable filter, filter value can be set from 0 to 25ms in 0.2ms increments, effectively filtering out transient electromagnetic noise and vibration interference from field devices. 500V effective electrical isolation is implemented between signal channel and X2X link bus circuit to block cross interference between field side and backplane communication. This split modular unit needs to be matched with X20BM11 bus carrier and X20TB12 terminal block to form a complete signal assembly for X20 automation station. LED indicators display module running status, bus communication and real-time signal state of each channel for convenient on-site inspection and fault diagnosis. It supports module-level and channel-level software diagnosis for fast anomaly troubleshooting. It carries ATEX Zone2, cULus HazLoc and marine certifications including DNV, ABS, KR and CCS, suitable for auxiliary hazardous locations and marine automation control systems.
