The B&R X20DC4395 is X20 series single-width high-speed dual-channel counter module for incremental encoder signal acquisition. It supports maximum input frequency up to 1MHz and 4x signal multiplication evaluation, which meets high-precision dual-axis synchronous positioning and speed monitoring tasks. Each channel supports A/B/R signal input, and the module provides 5V and 24V encoder power supply options. Short-circuit and overload protection are integrated for encoder power output, with real-time power supply status monitoring. 500V galvanic isolation is implemented between field signal side and X2X Link bus circuit to reduce electromagnetic interference from industrial power equipment. Built-in software diagnosis can quickly identify wiring errors, signal loss and overload faults. LED indicators display module running status and each encoder channel signal state for convenient on-site inspection. This split module must cooperate with X20BM11 bus carrier and X20TB12 terminal block to form complete I/O assembly. It carries ATEX Zone2, cULus HazLoc and marine certifications including DNV, suitable for auxiliary hazardous and marine automation control systems. IP20 protection grade for DIN rail cabinet mounting, compact 12.5mm width, robust mechanical structure with shock and vibration resistance for long-time stable operation.
