The B&R X20CP1585 is X20 series high-performance PLC CPU module powered by Intel Atom E620T 1GHz processor, paired with dedicated independent I/O processor for background X2X Link I/O data exchange, which reduces the load of main processor core. It is equipped with 512 MB DDR2-SDRAM and 1 MB SRAM, uses removable CompactFlash card for application program and data storage. Integrated lithium backup battery is included for data retention upon power loss, and battery status monitoring function is built in. This module features 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet supporting Ethernet bonding redundancy, 100Mbit/s POWERLINK interface with PRC poll response chaining mode, dual USB2.0 ports and RS232 serial port. One expansion slot is reserved for optional communication interface modules to expand network capability. The minimum task cycle time reaches 200µs, well suited for high-demanding multi-axis synchronized motion control and complex machine automation projects. It fully supports IEC61131-3 programming standard and Automation Studio runtime system, compatible with ACOPOS servo drives.
