It is equipped with integrated dual RJ45 100Mbit/s hub and supports up to 2 slots for optional hub expansion modules such as X20HB1881 fiber hub units, enabling flexible network topology extension. It connects X2X Link local I/O stations to the POWERLINK real-time industrial network, performing high-speed synchronous data exchange between the X20 rack, servo drives, remote sensors and actuators for motion control applications. Dynamic node allocation (DNA) is supported for convenient network device configuration. LED indicators display module running status and bus communication faults for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. This split modular unit requires X20BB80 bus base, power supply and terminal block to be ordered separately for complete station assembly. It carries ATEX Zone2, cULus HazLoc and DNV marine certifications, suitable for auxiliary hazardous and marine automation environments.
