The B&R 7CP476-020.9 is CP476 series expandable central processor module for B&R System 2003 automation platform. It is equipped with 750kB SRAM and 1.5MB FlashPROM for storing user control programs, machine recipes and configuration parameters. This CPU supports up to 4 screw-in expansion slots, plus one PCMCIA slot and one extra slot for optional interface modules, offering richer hardware expansion capability. Onboard interfaces include one RS232 serial port and one galvanically isolated CAN bus port for communication with field devices and distributed I/O hardware. Powered by 24VDC supply with 11.8W power consumption, it mounts directly on System2003 backplane bus. LED indicators display run status, fault and network link signals for simple on-site maintenance and troubleshooting.
