Product Details

The XYCOM XVME-560, PN 70560-001, is a discontinued 6U VMEbus high-speed analog input module, developed for XYCOM legacy VME control racks and high-performance industrial data acquisition systems. This module supports flexible channel configuration, which can be set up as 64 single-ended analog inputs or 32 differential analog inputs, delivering high channel density for multi-point signal collection. It adopts 12-bit ADC conversion architecture, with programmable gain options of 1, 2, 4, 8 via software control. Multiple voltage ranges are selectable, including 0-5V, 0-10V, ±2.5V, ±5V and ±10V to match different voltage-type sensors and transmitters.

The XVME-560 supports four working modes: random channel sampling, sequential channel scanning, single-channel continuous sampling and external trigger sampling. It can use DMA data transfer and hardware interrupt notification after conversion completion, which greatly reduces the CPU load of the VME master controller and improves the real-time performance of data acquisition. The module can be matched with 3B series signal conditioning accessories to expand access to thermocouple, RTD and current signal sensors, expanding the coverage of measurement types. It follows IEEE 1014 VMEbus specification and acts as a VME slave device. Users can configure base address, interrupt level and scan parameters through on-board DIP switches and jumpers to avoid address and interrupt conflicts with other VME modules installed in the same chassis. Integrated low-pass filtering and transient suppression circuits filter electromagnetic interference generated by inverters, servo drives and contactors, ensuring stable and accurate sampling results in noisy industrial sites.

The front panel is equipped with LED indicators for power status and bus activity, helping maintenance technicians quickly check power supply status, bus communication faults and configuration errors during commissioning and routine inspection. The PCB adopts industrial-grade electronic components and reliable EMC protection design, capable of resisting vibration, dust and temperature fluctuation in chemical plants, power stations, semiconductor equipment and automated test benches. This legacy high-speed analog input module is mainly supplied as spare replacement parts for existing XYCOM VME automation systems. Users need to confirm VME chassis compatibility, bus address allocation and sensor wiring definition before installation. A conformal coated version is optional for high humidity, dusty and corrosive industrial sites. This model is widely used in dynamic signal monitoring, batch test equipment, process variable logging and old VME high-speed acquisition system retrofit projects.

This high speed analog input module adopts standard 6U VME rack mount structure. It draws power from the VME backplane. LED indicators display power status and bus activity for convenient on-site inspection. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 65°C, storage temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C, relative humidity 5% to 95% non-condensing. It complies with industrial shock, vibration and EMC standards and has CE certifications. It supports scan sequence, gain and interrupt configuration backup for fast recovery after hardware replacement.

This XYCOM XVME-560 analog input module is widely applied in legacy VME control racks and industrial automation upgrade projects. It provides high-density high-speed analog signal acquisition and 12-bit conversion for the VME master control system. As a reliable discontinued spare part, the XYCOM XVME-560 retains original VME bus timing and analog signal compatibility, and effectively reduces the renovation cost of legacy industrial control system maintenance.
