The XYCOM 9487 is a discontinued compact flat panel industrial workstation from the XYCOM 9400 series, built for field human-machine interface and process monitoring in legacy factory and process automation systems. It is equipped with a 10.4-inch active matrix TFT color LCD with VGA 640×480 resolution, and provides optional analog resistive touchscreen for glove operation. The unit comes with a relegendable programmable membrane keypad, including 20 function keys and 32 data entry keys, operators can customize key codes for quick page switching, setpoint adjustment and alarm acknowledgement. The sealed front panel meets NEMA 4/4X/12 and IP65 protection rating, and it supports optional Class I Division 2 hazardous location certification for oil, gas and chemical dangerous areas.
