The XYCOM 9460 is a discontinued flat panel industrial workstation from the XYCOM 9400 series, built for legacy process automation and factory floor local operation and monitoring. It offers optional 10.4 inch or 12.1 inch color display, with STN passive or TFT active LCD versions, and supports resistive touchscreen or dedicated membrane keypad model 9460KP for different operation demands. The sealed front panel meets NEMA 4/4X/12 and IP65 rating when panel mounted, and it can be selected with Class I Division 2 hazardous location certification, suitable for oil, gas and chemical sites. It adopts Am5x86 133MHz or MMX industrial CPU, and supports DOS, Windows 3.11, Windows 95 and Windows NT operating systems, compatible with SCADA, HMI configuration software and mainstream protocols including Modbus, DF1, DH485 and EtherNet/IP. It is equipped with 2 PC/AT 3/4-length slots and 1 shared PCI/PC/AT expansion slot, which allows users to install serial cards, fieldbus interface cards and data acquisition cards to connect with legacy PLCs and field instruments. Onboard I/O includes multiple RS232, RS485 serial ports, parallel port, PS/2, USB, Ethernet and optional front floppy drive for project backup and data transfer. It supports panel mount and 19-inch rack mount with optional adapter plate, and the cabinet cutout matches the same series for direct replacement, reducing cabinet modification work. The built-in hardware watchdog timer automatically restarts the system to avoid program halt during long-time unattended operation. This flat panel industrial workstation adopts heavy-duty aluminum sealed front housing. It accepts dual power input: 115/230VAC 50-60Hz or 20-36VDC (24VDC nominal), rated power 80W. LED indicators display power status, hard disk activity and network communication status for convenient on-site inspection. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C, storage temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C, relative humidity 5% to 95% non-condensing. It complies with industrial shock, vibration and EMC standards and has obtained UL and CE certifications.
