The XYCOM 9450 is a discontinued heavy-duty CRT-based industrial workstation, designed as a robust operator interface for factory floor and process automation control. It integrates a 14-inch SVGA color CRT display with optional resistive membrane touchscreen, supporting glove-friendly touch operation for daily on-site operation. The front panel is sealed to NEMA 4/4X/12 and IP65 standards, delivering reliable protection against dust, water splashes and oil mist in harsh industrial environments. This model adopts a modular slide-out computer design, which allows quick access to internal components for easy maintenance and component replacement. It is equipped with Intel Celeron 433 MHz processor, supports up to 256 MB DRAM and built-in 10/100 BaseT PCI Ethernet, and can run MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT or Windows 2000 operating systems, compatible with mainstream SCADA and HMI configuration software. It features 5 ISA expansion slots, offering flexible expansion space to install serial communication cards, fieldbus cards and data acquisition cards to connect with legacy PLCs, transmitters and drives. Onboard interfaces include serial ports, USB, parallel port, PS/2 and front-access 1.44 MB floppy drive for data transfer and project backup.
