The XYCOM 8450 is a discontinued all-in-one industrial workstation with 14-inch color CRT display, built for factory floor process monitoring and local control in legacy automation systems. It adopts PC-based open architecture and can run DOS, Windows 95 or Windows NT operating systems, supporting various SCADA, HMI configuration software and multiple industrial communication protocols including Modbus, DF1, DH485 and EtherNet/IP. The front panel meets NEMA 4 and IP65 protection grade when panel mounted, providing reliable defense against dust, water splashes and oil mist in harsh production environments. This unit comes with multiple ISA expansion slots, which allow users to install serial communication cards, fieldbus cards and data acquisition cards to match different legacy PLC and field instrument requirements. It is equipped with abundant onboard I/O, including RS232, RS485 serial ports, Ethernet, USB, parallel port and keyboard interface, which can connect with PLCs, variable frequency drives, barcode readers and printers.
