The XYCOM 70688-001 VME-AT is a discontinued 6U single-slot VMEbus PC/AT compatible processor module, designed as a master control board for legacy XYCOM VME racks and DCS automation systems. Built on Intel 486 processor architecture, this board integrates onboard DRAM, IDE storage interface, floppy disk controller, VGA graphics output, dual RS232 serial ports, parallel port and PS/2 keyboard and mouse interfaces. It supports DOS and early embedded industrial operating systems, and can run original PC-based control software and HMI programs for stable field operation. It fully complies with standard VMEbus specification, supports A16/A24/A32 address space, seven-level interrupt daisy chain and bus arbitration function.
