The XYCOM 70590-001 XVME-590/1 is a discontinued 6U VMEbus optically isolated analog input module, designed for legacy XYCOM VME control racks and DCS process monitoring systems. This module features 8 independent isolated analog input channels with 12-bit ADC resolution, each channel separated by optical isolation to break ground loops and suppress common-mode noise and transient voltage spikes from field transmitters. Users can configure each channel for different industrial signal ranges including 0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V, ±10V and 4-20mA current loop input via on-board jumpers. It supports sequential scanning and external trigger sampling modes, and can trigger VME interrupt once a conversion cycle finishes to notify the host VME CPU for data reading. The board follows standard VME slave specification and supports A16 and A24 address space. Technicians can set base address and interrupt level through DIP switches and jumpers to avoid address and interrupt conflicts on the shared VME backplane.
