The XYCOM 70530-001 XVME530 is a discontinued 6U VMEbus isolated analog output module for legacy XYCOM VME control racks and DCS process automation systems. It provides 8 independent analog output channels with 12-bit DAC resolution, and each channel can be configured via on-board jumpers for multiple voltage or current ranges including 0-5V,0-10V,±5V,±10V and 4-20mA current loop signals. The module adopts photoelectric isolation design with 300V isolation rating between field side and VME bus side, which effectively suppresses ground loop noise and transient voltage spikes from field wiring, protecting the VME backplane and host CPU from interference damage. It supports stable monotonic conversion and fast settling time, which can deliver accurate analog control signals to drive control valves, electro-pneumatic positioners, variable frequency drives and field indicators for closed-loop regulation. This module follows standard VME slave protocol and supports A16 and A24 address space. Users can set base address through DIP switches and jumpers to avoid address conflicts on the shared backplane.
