The XYCOM 4810-KYB is a discontinued sealed membrane industrial keyboard, specially designed as matching input accessory for XYCOM 4810E, 4810E-LF and 4810ER IT terminal operator interfaces. This rugged membrane keypad integrates numeric keys, function keys, cursor control keys and dedicated shortcut keys for industrial HMI operation, allowing operators to input setpoints, acknowledge alarms, switch display pages and send control commands to the host terminal. The sealed membrane structure provides dust and splash resistance, suitable for the same harsh factory and process environments as the 4810 series IT terminals. It adopts dedicated signal cable and connector to plug directly into the corresponding port of the 4810 series terminal, realizing stable signal transmission without extra adapter circuit. The key layout is pre-defined for process automation operation, and the key labels can be replaced according to different project requirements. It is built with anti-vibration and EMC suppression design, which can resist electromagnetic interference and mechanical vibration in workshop conditions.
