The XYCOM 4150 is a discontinued legacy operator interface terminal from XYCOM Softscreen series, designed for on-site process monitoring and manual control in vintage automation systems. It adopts compact panel mounting structure and matches the cabinet cutout of the same series terminals for direct replacement, reducing mechanical modification work during equipment maintenance. It is equipped with built-in serial communication ports supporting RS232, RS485 and DH485, which can connect with Allen‑Bradley PLC-5, SLC 500 and other classic controllers, as well as serial transmitters, flow meters and weighing instruments. It runs Softscreen runtime software, and the screen project files are developed and downloaded by the dedicated Xyware configuration tool. The built-in lithium backup battery preserves HMI projects and real-time clock data when the main power supply is cut off, and battery aging is a common fault of this aging model. The front panel is sealed against dust and water splash, suitable for general factory floor environments.
