The XYCOM 3115 is a discontinued 15-inch Thinline series rugged industrial panel computer, designed as an all-in-one HMI workstation for factory automation and process control applications. It features a color TFT XGA display with 1024×768 resolution and Dynapro analog resistive touchscreen, which supports glove operation for on-site industrial use. The front panel meets IP65 and NEMA 4/12 rating, offering reliable protection against dust, water splashes and oil mist in harsh workshop environments. This unit is equipped with Intel Celeron or Pentium III processor, configurable memory and IDE storage, and it commonly runs Windows 2000 or Windows XP embedded operating systems, compatible with most SCADA, HMI configuration software and mainstream industrial protocols including Modbus, EtherNet/IP and DF1. It comes with rich onboard I/O interfaces: one 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, two RS232 ports, one configurable RS232/422/485 serial port, dual USB ports, PS/2, VGA and parallel printer port, allowing direct connection with PLCs, drives, barcode scanners and printers. It supports panel mount, arm mount and wall mount installation, flexible for operator console and cabinet upgrade. The built-in watchdog timer provides automatic system reset to prevent program halt during long-time unattended operation. This legacy unit is mainly supplied as spare replacement for existing XYCOM workstations, and users need to back up original HMI project files before replacement. A conformal coated version is optional for high humidity, dusty and corrosive industrial sites.
