The XYCOM 2060 is a discontinued 12-inch color CRT operator interface within the XYCOM 2000 Softscreen series, built for legacy process automation monitoring and local operation. It upgrades from the monochrome 2050 model with color CRT display, supporting richer graphical screens, multi-color alarm indication, trend curves and recipe management for old production systems. It adopts standard panel mounting design, matching the cabinet cutout of the same series terminals to simplify direct replacement without heavy mechanical modification. It provides RS232, RS485 and DH485 communication ports, supporting stable connection with Allen‑Bradley SLC 500, PLC-5 and other serial controllers, as well as third-party transmitters, flow meters and weighing instruments. It runs Softscreen runtime, and screen projects are programmed and downloaded by Xyware configuration software. The internal lithium backup battery retains HMI project files and real-time clock data during power failure, and battery aging is a typical failure point for this vintage CRT unit. The front panel has dust and splash resistance for general industrial workshop environments. It accepts 90-250VAC wide voltage power supply, suitable for continuous long-term operation. The terminal works independently and does not interfere with the control logic of the connected PLC.
