The XYCOM 1300HAZ is a discontinued Class I Division 2 certified thin client node module, designed for remote visualization and operator input in hazardous industrial environments with flammable gas or dust. It adopts a lightweight thin client architecture, all application logic and HMI programs run on the central server, and this unit only undertakes display output, touch or keyboard input and data forwarding via Ethernet communication. It is equipped with Geode GX1 300MHz processor and 128MB SDRAM, built-in VGA video port, dual RS232 serial ports, USB interface and parallel port, which can connect to external industrial monitors, touch panels and peripheral devices. The unit supports 100-240VAC wide voltage power input with 0.5A rated current, and the compact structure is suitable for cabinet installation and panel mounting in limited space. It is configured and managed by ThinManager software, supporting unified remote configuration, firmware upgrade and group management of multiple client nodes, which greatly reduces the maintenance workload of distributed control systems.
