Woodward 5417-173 is a 10-foot factory pre-terminated discrete interface cable assembly, specially developed for digital signal interconnection of Woodward MicroNet Simplex and MicroNet Plus control systems. It is used to transmit trip signals, status feedback signals, dry contact interlock signals and other discrete digital signals between the main controller, discrete I/O modules and field safety switches. It adopts multi-strand flexible tinned copper conductors and overall shielded construction, which can suppress electromagnetic noise interference in turbine control cabinets and power station environments, prevent signal distortion and false triggering of protection loops, and guarantee stable and reliable transmission of safety-related discrete signals. The outer sheath is made of industrial flame-retardant and oil-resistant polymer material, which has excellent wear resistance, bending resistance and aging resistance, adapting to long-term working conditions with vibration and oil pollution on site. Both ends are pre-assembled with dedicated matching connectors compatible with MicroNet hardware, and the internal contact pins are gold-plated to reduce contact resistance and improve anti-oxidation and anti-vibration performance.
